Three Austrians were issued wildcards for the qualification of the Erste Bank Open starting on Saturday. Talented Lukas Neumayer (ATP no. 292) kicks off the action on the centercourt of the Wiener Stadthalle at 11 am against Frenchman Quentin Halys (ATP 66), who is the no. 7 seed in the qualification. This match is followed by Alexander Erler (ATP 769) against no. 8 Joao Sousa (ATP 67).
In the fourth match on the centercourt, Lucas Miedler (ATP 350) will face off against no. 3 seed J.J. Wolf (ATP 56), who only last week reached his maiden finals in Florence. The day is closed out with the doubles match between Austrian duo Neil Oberleitner/Jurij Rodionov and Tomislav Brkic (BIH)/Gonzalo Escobar (ECU).
