Fans of the Erste Bank Open can look forward to a great line-up in the doubles event. The top 4 players in the world will show their skills in Vienna.
The doubles draw is headlined by Rajeev Ram (USA/ATP doubles 1) and Joe Salisbury (GBR/2), who won the US Open just a few weeks ago and reached the finals of the Erste Bank Open last year. Then there are Wesley Koolhof (NED/3) and Neal Skupski (GBR/4), who lost to Ram/Salisbury in the US Open finals 2022. There is a good chance that they will meet for a re-match in Vienna.
There is also the Croatian pairing of Nikola Mektic (9) and Mate Pavic (7), who have become regular guests in Vienna in the past.
Other well-known names, who can also be seen in the singles competition: Karen Khachanov teams up with Andrey Rublev, who won the singles title in 2020. Dan Evans (GBR) will play alongside Australian John Peers, Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz finds himself in a team with Brazilian Marcelo Melo and fan favorite Diego Schwartzman is heading into the doubles competition with fellow Argentinian Pedro Cachin.
13 of the 16 open spots in the main draw are already occupied, with two more wildcards and one qualifier pair completing the line-up.
