First Austrian in action
Not before 5.30 pm, the first of four Austrians will step on the centercourt, when Filip Misolic makes his debut at the Erste Bank Open against Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo who only lately lost twice in a row to Dominic Thiem. “I’m very much looking forward to the match”, said Misolic, “I hope I can take away a lot from his matches against Dominic.”

The highlight of the day comes in the final match when Andrey Rublev, Vienna winner in 2020, will take on Diego Schwartzman. The man from Argentina has become a fan favorite in Vienna in 2019, when the whole centercourt chanted “Diego, Diego!”
