World-class lineup at the Erste Bank Open

All 23 players of the lineup have already won tournaments on the ATP tour.

The Erste Bank Open’s lineup boasts no less than 5 players from the top 10 and 8 players from the top 15 of the world. Another stunning fact: all 23 players who have entered the competition have already won tournaments on the ATP tour.

The field is headed by last year’s US Open champion and current no. 4 in the world, Daniil Medvedev. Behind him, Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE/6), Cameron Norrie (GBR/8), Andrey Rublev (9) and Jannik Sinner (ITA/10) complete the top 10 players. Next come Hubert Hurkacz  (POL/11), Taylor Fritz (USA/12), Matteo Berrettini (ITA/15), Diego Schwartzman (ARG/17), Karen Khachanov (18), Vorjahresfinalist Frances Tiafoe (USA/19), Grigor Dimitrov (BUL/23), Denis Shapovalov (CAN/24) and Borna Coric (CRO/26).

This world-class lineup has the “cut off” for entries into the main draw – the position with which a player is directly qualified – rise to number 28 in the world. This is also due to the fact that six players have used their right of so-called “top 30 commitment players”, who were in the top 30 at the end of the last season. Among those is also Dominic Thiem, who makes his comeback at his home tournament after a one year absence due to an injury.
