Once again this year, sports-loving kids can look forward to games, fun and plenty of action at the spark7 Next Gen Day powered by Stadt Wien during the Erste Bank Open – not only at the Wiener Stadthalle, but also at the Marx Halle.

The best part: 500 visitors aged 15 or under, together with one accompanying adult each, will enjoy free admission to the Erste Bank Open at the Marx Halle on this day.* This promotion has in the meantime ended and the winners have been notified.

Traditionally, Monday at the tournament – this year 26 October, Austria’s National Day – is dedicated to our youngest visitors. They can look forward to an afternoon packed with an exciting and entertaining programme.

At a variety of activity stations, kids can put their skills to the test. IMPORTANT: Please remember to bring shoes with light-coloured soles if you want to go on court!

• Art Shot
  Tennis meets colour
  With lots of colour and even more action, we’ll turn a tennis ball into a paint bomb and a canvas into a work of art. Try it yourself and bring some colour to the Wiener Stadthalle!

• Mini Court
  Like a match court in the Marx Halle – only smaller
  Let off steam on the Mini Court and play a few points against other children.

• Padel Court
  Ready, set, padel!
  Get active on the padel court and score your first padel points with other kids.

• Target Wall
  Hit the bullseye
  Show how accurate you are, aim the ball at the different targets on the wall and collect as many points as possible.

• Serve Challenge
  Who has the fastest serve?
  The tennis stars on the #glaubandich Court serve at an average speed of 190–210 km/h. Now it’s your turn: How fast can you make the speedometer go? Can you even serve faster than the pros?
