On Friday, Lorenzo Musetti (ATP 8) became the last player to secure a spot in the semifinals of the Erste Bank Open 2025. The Italian defeated unseeded Frenchman Corentin Moutet (ATP 36) 6-3, 6-4 – and has yet to drop a set this week.

Facing Moutet’s unconventional game, Musetti stayed composed, kept up a high pace from the baseline, and refused to be drawn into his opponent’s tricks. Moutet thrilled the crowd at times with his flair and shot-making but ultimately had to concede to the superior class of the Top 10 player.

With Musetti’s victory, the top four seeds have once again reached the semifinals of the Erste Bank Open – just like in 2023. Fans can look forward to two days of pure tennis excellence in Vienna.
