The event starts in the morning, when the second edition of "Fifteen Seconds Sports" will take place in Hall F. What can managers learn from top athletes - and vice versa? “Fifteen Seconds Sports" explores questions like these in keynotes and panel discussions.
This year, top-class personalities such as Olympic skiing champion Anna Veith, big-wave surfer Nic von Rupp and three-time Wimbledon champion and 1996 Vienna winner Boris Becker have been recruited for the event. They will be joined by executives from internationally renowned companies such as Atomic, Planted and Huawei.
In the afternoon, the action continues in the foyer of Hall D, when Boris Becker will be a guest at Thomas Muster's traditional "Tom's Talk." The two former world No. 1s are united by a long, shared sports history and rivalry. The duel in the 1995 Monte Carlo final, for example, is unforgettable, when Muster came from 2-0 down to win the match and the title in five sets. A year later, Becker held his own by winning the title in Vienna's Stadthalle.
"We still have loose contact," reveals Muster, who is looking forward to the reunion. There was already one in the Stadthalle when the two faced each other in 2004 as part of the Tennis Classics. That reunion ended in a straight two-set victory for the German.
