Learner Tien Set for Vienna Debut

Learner Tien is an outstanding representative of the ATP Tour’s new generation. The 20-year-old American won the Next Gen ATP Finals in 2025 before claiming his maiden ATP Tour title in Metz shortly afterwards. This season, he added another trophy in Geneva and firmly established himself among the world’s leading players.

Tien will now make his Erste Bank Open debut. With his exceptional court awareness, composure and remarkable consistency, the American has rapidly climbed into the Top 20 – and is already far more than just a star of tomorrow.

Menšík Continues His Rise

Jakub Menšík has also underlined that the future belongs to him. The 21-year-old Czech reached the French Open semi-finals this year, where he challenged eventual champion Alexander Zverev. With his powerful game and imposing serve, Menšík has already firmly established himself inside the Top 20.

Before competing at the Erste Bank Open, Menšík will also be in action at Red Bull BassLine. On Friday, 23 October, he will join five other top players to launch Vienna’s tennis week with a spectacular mix of tie-break tennis, music and entertainment.
